I had a fun today. Made the effort to bond a little with my sister. Went out for lunch, went shopping for some stuff and helped paint her nails while watching a movie in the living room. It was very much rewarding and refreshing. That's only half of it.

Later I had my itunes playing and 'Man in the Mirror' came on(one of my favourites btw), a great inspiration. Personally and I believe many people will agree with me that every time you listen to one of Michael's songs(not all, a few), you'd understand the meaning behind the simple words. The songs speak clearly for themselves about what's going on around even though many people are oblivious about it. To make a difference, we've got to start with ourselves...

and the list can go on and on...

but i guess all in all, I'd just have to live my life the way i want it to make it different every other day. apart from all that Ive listed that i cant change the person that i truly am. i am still definitely different from the rest.

we apply the act of giving and taking everyday. within the contacts of our friends, family members, co-workers, classmates or even strangers. it could be anybody at any given time, given place. like giving up your seat to some random person who needs it more than you or like how we always ignore the handouts given by the distributor along the street who's just doing his/her job. what about tolerance and patience? how well do we allow ourselves to hold unto tolerance and be patient? is there a limit to tolerating or how often do we blow up on the spot; in the face of others? some sort of random question that came up my mind that became not so random after all. when we think about it, we don't think of stuff like that. so exactly how well do we act on the principles of giving and taking? can we be that generous or that selfish? not thinking of expecting something out of doing a good deed that was out of the way? everything is inter-linked with one another including tolerance and patience. of cause we can't keep a balance but to what extend are we doing it, consciously and sub-consciously.

we were talking about random stuff and it got to talking about relationships. her sister's dating a much older man and i too prefer a specific group of mature men and she said something that got me thinking, but "wouldn't i want to be with somebody for as long as possible before they pass on rather than knowing that with dating and eventually settling down?", that that person wouldn't be able to spend equivalent time you'd hope for.

i feel like an old lady this days, battling the on-going winter everday, feels as if i'm living in Vancouver. my joints ache occasionally, my butt hurts from sitting on a small surface of a stool and i'm constantly hunching because of its height so as to work on my drafting table. its freezing cold in the work room that the glass panels gets fogged.

for whatever reasons that people stare isn't really anybody's business
but like knowing that they were staring and you'd looked at them and they'd turn to pretend they weren't and turn back again, you know what i mean.
i never like the way people stare. you never know or don't want to know what runs in their head. usually its just nasty things.
sometimes you don't have to even look at the person eye to eye to know.
especially when the guy is with his girlfriend, friend, wife, whatever, he'll find a chance to look/peep secretly. it's creepy, what is wrong with these people?(man in general)
when a female stares/looks at another female, it's fine, there's no harm done.
but when a male constantly stares, there's definitely a problem. I'd think he would be a psychotic pervert who seriously needs his eyes to be forced out from his sockets.

*Bring a spoon, fork, chopstick, eyeliner, mascara, pen, anything smaller or the size of an eye as a backup. anybody asked you why you did it, its because he wouldn't stop staring at you.

things have been really busy for everyone in the fashion faculty. with the assessment date drawing nearer, all of us are staying late, for some its an overnight event at the sewing room these days. working long hours on the sewing machine, all of us do our very best in realizing our illustrations into beautiful pieces. post imagines of us working the next time, if there's a "soon" ever near for me. as for now, im taking a short break at 12:52 in the sewing room and my dress is beginning to take its shape, getting it ready for a photoshoot at 9, this coming monday. "The Delays' have been with me on this journey, great to listen. will post a few of their songs here, check them out.

lying in my bed, i was awoken by my phone this morning. a call from al. she sounded happy so i gave my best of a awaken voice, our external group project was selected to be displayed in the new school. i was happy for us during our short conversation. when it ended, i knew today felt wrong or different. i sat up and she wasn't there where she would always be, every morning, no more kisses, no more hugs. her little paws, her curved body and the soft sounds she makes when shes sleeping were not there. her spot on my bed. i opened my door, seeing the cushion on the floor, she hasn't occupied it since yesterday. the feeling of loneliness came and i was all alone at home. she is not here with me. This time, she will never come back to my side but eternally gone.
